Men, mark down November 11th on your calendars. We are planning a fellowship meal (we’re definitely thinking deliciously charred beef) and special guest speaker. In honor of Veteran’s Day, we have invited Ralph Janikowski, a retired Navy Submarine commander and current Headmaster of Westminster Academy, to come a speak to us about his life, faith and experiences in the Navy. Invite a veteran in your life to come and be our guest. More details to come.

Our monthly men’s fellowship meets the third Friday of each month. Our next meeting will be on October 21st at 6:30. Location TBD.

Sunday morning we will begin our fall Adult Sunday School classes. Dave Wunrow will be teaching through The Peacemaker by Ken Sande, a very helpful book about Christian conflict resolution. Craig Childs and Shaun Brannen will be teaching through the books of Colossians and Philemon. Please plan to stay and enjoy coffee and fellowship before going to one of these great classes.

During the Sermon, our children ages 3 through 5 (PreK) will be dismissed for a Children’s Message and activity. Thank you to all who volunteered to make this happen. If you would like to volunteer, we still need you.

Come 'make a joyful noise to the Lord' with the GCC adult choir this upcoming season! Rehearsals take place Wednesday evenings, from 7:30-8:30 PM in the sanctuary.
